i went today to the Forest Avenue library to pick up a Harry Potter movie.  when i told my mom where i was going she said she didnt want me going there at night because there had been shootings and stuff near there.  yeah, i'm not going there after dark...bad neighborhood.  there have been shootings and the like in Evelyn Davis Park, which is right near there.  when i went to that library today, there a surveillance camera and  classical music playing just outside the door.  which reminded me of bars playing classical music out front in the wee hours of the night/morning to discourage people from loitering there. lol.
